Listen to the fifthestate interview with Jenni Mills

Many thanks to everyone who listened to my first chapter this week. We’ll keep it up here in the months running up to publication.

Last week I came in to visit everyone who is going to be working on my book at Press Books. You can listen to an interview with me here, and also hear how to get sent one of ten free advance reading copies of Crow Stone.

I’d like an advance reading copy of Crow Stone if there’s one available.

Thanks and
Kind regards

Really like the idea of such advance, advance, advance publicity. Nice to hear an author speaking in such relaxed space. You could do with some tighter editing front and back of the i/v and slightly less gushing enthusiasm from the interviewee if you want potential readers to have belief in your interviews. I found myself wondering whether the interviewee ALWAYS says,”It was fabulous” to all the authors since, after all, they are your authors!!! However, it was tempting enough for me to want to delve deeper into the hidden depths of archeology…nothing interests me less, so it;’ll be fascinating to discover whether I can be converted!!! I can definitely see the potential here for dramatic film sequences….

Janet Trewin’s comments on the podcast are all on the mark – and it was great to hear Jenni’s rich radio voice again after such a long time. I wish we could hear more of her. I guess it’s too late in the day to ask for a reading copy of Crow Stone but should there be any more available please let me know.

I cannot wait until the book is released.

I guess a advance proof is too late to request???

I’ve got a fresh batch of advance proofs in, so anyone who’d still like to grab their free review copy, it’s not too late.

This book sounds absolutely fantastic!

Would an advance proof be still available at all?? I’m dying to read it!

Dear Jenni,
had the pleasure of meeting you at the Warminster library last year and bought a copy of CROW STONE. I enjoyed this book very much, both the writing and story line. It kept me guessing until the end. It was the frist novel that I have been able to get through since my husband died in 2002. Though I could write and edit my own stuff, I had lost the ability to get interested in fiction, but now, thanks to you, this has come back! I recommend CROW STONE to every one i come across. All the best, Jeanne,
