New ideas sent to 365act.com

Here’s 2 new ideas posted on the website I run (365act.com) from Chinmayee Jog:

Save Paper, Save the Planet

I cut up all my envelopes and other paper than can be reused (unless it can be used for printing on), hole-punch them and put them in a file so that I can use them like a notebook. I then write whatever I want on them, such as aromatherapy recipes and food recipes, etc… the envelopes are cut along the sides to make a single piece of paper. If the piece of paper is not long or wide enough, I clip it together with others of similar size (with a paper clip) and I use it for my grocery or to-do list.

Eat chocolate with a clear conscience AND help save endangered species

When I recently found out that a lot of the chocolate I was eating might be coming from farms that use child slavery, I decided to switch to fair-trade chocolate, which does not. Visiting my local Oxfam store, I came upon chocolate bars from “The Endangered Species Chocolate Company”, which not only produces both fair-trade and organic chocolate bars, but also gives 10% of its profits to help protect endangered species, as well as habitats, and humanity. Printed on the bar wrappers is information on various different endangered species, such as the black rhino. And in addition to all this good work, the chocolate is ABSOLUTELY delicious! So if more people switched to it from regular chocolate, it would make a big difference in this world.

Note: Endangered Species Chocolates only available in North America. Try Divine, Dubble or other Fairtrade brands in the UK. Enjoy! www.chocolatebar.com
