as some of you will realise, I’ve been dispatched on a month-long worldwide tour to promote Ben Dolnick’s new book Zoology and have been asked to contribute to Fifth Estate as I go on my travels. But before I reveal where I am this week, it’s time to catch-up with all the latest news in the goatblogosphere.

We were delighted to be contacted by Becky Huyser from the Yellow Jacket Ridge Angora Ranch . Becky enjoys balancing goat chakras, which sounds great for the spirit and the mind. After this epic journey is over I’d best book myself in for some R & R!

Anyway, where am I this week? Well I’m still in the UK…

In Cornwall! The weather’s been good, which means I’ve had more time to spend in some of the fine restaurants here, do some cliff-walking and go surfing. I’ve also had a chance to check out Cornwall’s Pygmy Goat Club the only goat club I know of for the vertically disadvantaged goat. Most pygmy goats are based on the West African Dwarf goat, who I should imagine I’m related to somewhere along the line.

Anyway, be sure to enter our goat naming competition and I’ll be back somewhere new next week!
